I couldn’t be happier. We had the floor refinished in one very heavily trafficked room. The floor was worn badly and looked horrible. Now it looks like new. They were able to work around a few items of furniture that I could not get out of the room, moving it to one end of the room and then the other. The work was done right on schedule with no problems whatsoever.

As part of our new master bedroom remodeling project, we contracted with Alpine Flooring to install and refinish new wide plank white oak floors and install wall paneling across one bedroom wall as an accent. Alpine finished our floors using Rubio Oil. The look is very natural and warm, and the crew was able to give us exactly the color we were looking for. My designer was right … Alpine is the best!

My family has used Alpine Floors for the last 15 years for a variety of flooring projects. Last year they helped us transform our basement by removing the old carpet and installing beautiful vinyl plank flooring. The process was very easy, and in the end my wife and kids are thrilled to have a whole new look in their “kid’s lair”. Also, a few months ago I had Alpine install and refinish 200+ year old reclaimed oak flooring in our great room. They said our floor came from an old factory in Pennsylvania which had recently been torn down. The wood is simply gorgeous. My wife said I have been having people over to the house more lately just to show off my new reclaimed oak floor. Perhaps she has a point. Our family highly recommends Alpine Flooring.

My wife and I were thrilled with the job that Mike and his men did on our floors–buffing and reapplying polyurethane. Most importantly, Mike was great about doing the work while we were away for a few days and coordinating with our housekeeper. When we returned home, we found beautiful floors with no chemical smell. Our housekeeper had high praise for Mike’s workmen too.
Prior to doing this work, we also consulted with another company who tried to convince us that the floors needed complete refinishing, which would have cost twice as much and with a lot more inconvenience and mess. We are obviously glad we didn’t take their advice and listened to Mike instead.

Alpine Wood Floors refinished my oak floors some years again, and I once again asked them for a bid as well an another company. Alpine’s price was almost exactly the same as the competitor. Given that they did such as good job the first time, I went with them again. This time they had to repair some issues where plant pots had leaded. Once again, their work was excellent. The areas where the repairs were done are undetectable. The team that did the work was on time, polite and worked around some furniture issues. Very, very little dust. Overall, they once again did an excellent job.

Our home in Berwyn, Pa needed a spring makeover. So my husband contacted Alpine Flooring & Design. The main issue we had was that although the floors on our first floor were in decent shape, no matter how much we cleaned them, they still seemed dirty. There were areas where the dirt had filled in the grain in the boards around the kitchen island. Our floors also looked dull and were beginning to wear in front of the sink and refrigerator. The owner from Alpine met with us and told us about their hardwood floor deep cleaning and re-coating system. We decided to have Alpine deep clean and coat all the floors on our first floor, and we decided to get this done while we were away for several days. Glad to say when we returned home, the floors looked fabulous and the new satin finish they applied made the floors look new again. They handled moving the heavier furniture items, all we had to do to prepare was to move the smaller items and disconnect the computer and TV. The whole experience was pleasurable, and oh yes – no dust whatsoever!
